Commercial Kitchen
Haw Creek Commons is one of the two licensed commercial kitchens in the Asheville area. It provides the resources for new and established catering and food truck clients to find a home base that supports their needs in both kitchen usage and business development. This year the Commons staff brought together business leaders and kitchen specialists from across the Asheville area to develop a mentoring program that is specifically designed to help the new kitchen client thrive and develop sustainable business practices
Co-Working Space
Haw Creek Commons has a beautiful co-working space that is a place for the developing business to call home and find community with like-minded people in a similar stage of development. Additionally, The Commons also has five offices that are available for fulltime rental by an individual or small business. We provide Wi-Fi, snacks, drinks, a printer/copier and a warm, welcoming environment for you to thrive. As a part of your co-working membership you also have access to our business mentoring group and its leaders.
Community Gardens
Our campus is home to many gardens that are open to the community. We believe that one of the best ways to build community is by growing and sharing food. We have a weekly garden workday on Mondays from 6pm-8pm. Come join us and learn more about where your food comes from and how to become more self sustainable.
missional care center
The Missional Care Center is a dedicated place of healing that provides care needs for varying community needs from acupuncture to massage, clinical therapy, behavioral consulting around addiction and alcoholism as well as a meeting space for healing practitioners to gather with groups for workshops. It is a pay as you need it space that allows the start-up practitioner to only pay for space as they need it, giving them an opportunity to grow their business without the high overhead that causes so ,any businesses to fail. Additionally, we provide a permanent mailing address and small business development support for all of our Missional Care Center clients with multiple opportunities to outsource business needs so that they can focus fully on what they are best at
Sanctuary
The Sanctuary space at the commons has been beautifully renovated with the rest of the building and is available for party rentals throughout the week excluding Sundays. We have been told the acoustics in the space are fantastic, creating an excellent space for small concerts and shows. Please let us know how we can best help you develop your event.
